L2 Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Hone mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Hone.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

3. AI-Powered Features

Hone uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate training plans, coaching feedback, and weekly summaries. When you use these features, relevant portions of your profile and training data are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not share your name, email address, or other directly identifying information with Anthropic.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a database platform with row-level security enabled. Data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Hone subscriptions are managed through Apple In-App Purchases and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment card information. All payment processing is handled by Apple. RevenueCat is used to manage subscription status and entitlements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

7. Progress Photos

If you use the progress photo check-in feature, photos you submit are sent to the Anthropic Claude API for analysis and are not stored on our servers after processing. Photos are used solely to generate your body composition feedback and are not used for any other purpose.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@honefitness.app. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

9. Children's Privacy

Hone is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@honefitness.app.

If you are a resident of California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
